Returning Your Rental

All costumes, including any accessories, must be returned to RTR by the final day of your rental period. Please contact us via Instagram, Facebook or email (hello@renttheroutine.com) if you have any questions about the rental process.

Costumes are shipped in secure packaging to protect them during transit. We ask that all items be returned using the same or similar protective packaging to ensure safe delivery back to us. All costumes must be double bagged and triple sealed. 

Customers are responsible for covering the cost of their return shipping method. All return shipments must be insured for the full purchase price of the costume. A tracking number must be provided once the return has been sent. We’ll send your return instructions directly to your email 14 days before your rental is due to be returned, so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare your package. 

If the costume is not returned by the agreed-upon due date, a late fee totaling 5% of the total costume purchase price will be applied each day until the item is received (total charged will not exceed purchase price plus 5% convenience fee). If you need more time, you may request an extension before your rental period ends. Extensions are not guaranteed and will be reviewed case by case.

Failure to return items may result in additional charges and recovery action. Please return costumes on time to avoid any penalties.
